时至今日,奕斯伟集团已经成长为一家集成电路领域产品和服务提供商,业务包括芯片与方案、硅材料、生态链开发等板块。除了承接芯片与方案业务的奕斯伟计算,他们还拥有聚焦硅材料业务的西安奕材。

两家公司面对的是不同的产业问题。奕斯伟计算从计算架构、芯片设计和软件出发,而西安奕材则提供芯片制造所需的12寸硅片,用于制造存储芯片、逻辑芯片、图像传感器、显示驱动芯片及功率器件等。

在IDG资本、芯动能、三行资本、博华资本、金石投资、中网投、陕西民营基金、众为资本、国寿股权、恒旭资本、尚颀资本、国投创合、上海综改基金、源码资本、国开科创、陕西集成电路基金、国家集成电路产业投资基金二期等支持下,西安奕材在2025年便已上市。

围绕这两项主业,奕斯伟集团还通过生态链开发业务,向材料、部件、设备、封测等上下游环节延伸。这家公司从产业研究和项目筛选开始,参与项目企划、前期研发和可行性研究,再推进产业化落地、体系建设,以及后续融资和成长。

芯片产品需要制造和封测配合,材料、设备和部件也需要进入客户的验证体系。奕斯伟集团通过不同公司分别推进业务,再以投资和孵化补充配套环节,将单个项目的发展与上下游建设联系起来。

业务逐步展开之后,王东升也陆续将公司的经营重任交给下一代。时至今日,西安奕材的董事长、执行委员会主席为48岁的杨新元,而奕斯伟计算的董事长、首席执行官则由46岁的米鹏担任。

不过69岁的王东升,仍在为中国半导体产业的发展而努力。除了继续担任奕斯伟集团董事长,他还是西安奕材和奕斯伟计算的董事会战略与投资委员会主席,并参与推动更广泛的产业合作。

2024年,他提出RDI(RISC-V数字基础设施)的产业概念,呼吁产业链上下游共同建设RDI产业生态。按照这一构想,RDI覆盖采用RISC-V架构的芯片、设备、软件和系统,以及由此形成的“新算力、新网络、新数据、新设施、新终端”。

这项倡议将合作范围从芯片设计延伸到设备、软件和系统。RISC-V芯片要进入更多应用,既需要产品开发,也需要软件适配和设备厂商采用。王东升希望通过上下游共同投入,推动这条计算架构进入更广泛的数字基础设施。

从显示面板到硅片、计算芯片,王东升持续参与技术的产业化,也在为相关产业组织资金、团队和上下游资源。京东方的发展、国产硅片进入客户供应链,以及RISC-V产品获得终端采用,共同构成了他人生的一条主线:以产业化能力,持续填补中国半导体产业链的关键空白。
