It targets global creators, production teams, public welfare organizations, and art schools, with a focus on young creators, creating a connection between brands and young creative communities.

2. Topics cover environmental protection, vulnerable groups, women’s growth, disability inclusion, grassroots governance, cultural heritage, climate change, and biodiversity, making the event suitable for brands to co-create and communicate around social value.

3. Shortlisted materials will appear in the event handbook, official website, and online and offline media promotions. Brands can gain exposure through the event, but confidential content must be explained in writing; otherwise it will be treated as non-confidential.

Summary 2: Brand support methods and communications conversion

1. Award-winning and shortlisted projects can join the “Double 100 Support Program” of the Leqi SmallRig Film Development Fund, receiving dedicated funding, SmallRig equipment, and communications support, demonstrating the equipment brand’s support for creators.

2. The organizing committee connects projects with production, investment, broadcasting, and distribution resources and helps them participate in domestic and international film festivals and venture platforms. The jury emphasizes market potential, communications pathways, audience reach, and sustainability, helping brands assess the communications value of content.

3. In first-edition cases, “Hey, Hey, Football Team” moved from Best Proposal to national theatrical release; “Spring Fantasy” won an award at an international documentary festival; and “Her and Her Secret” entered an international pitch forum. These can serve as references for the communications effectiveness of brand public-interest film initiatives.

Summary 1: Opportunities and growth points

1. The second edition expands the call scope, targeting global creators, production teams, public welfare organizations, and art schools, with a focus on young creators. The deadline is November 22, 2026, increasing the supply of public-interest film projects and collaboration opportunities.

2. Topics cover environmental protection, vulnerable groups, women’s growth, disability inclusion, grassroots governance, cultural heritage, climate change, and biodiversity. Formats include documentaries, narrative films, experimental films, animation, and non-fiction. Creators have real needs for funding, equipment, production, communications, and distribution.

3. Award-winning and shortlisted projects can receive dedicated funding, equipment, and communications resources from the “Double 100 Support Program” and may connect with production, investment, broadcasting, distribution, and domestic and international film festival venture platforms, creating project collaboration and resource-service opportunities.

Summary 2: Risk notes and learnable models

1. Award names, numbers, and specific prize amounts are subject to the organizer’s final determination. Registration is deemed acceptance of the terms, and the organizing committee holds the right of final interpretation.

2. Shortlisted project materials will be used in the event handbook, official website, and online and offline promotions. Any confidential content must be designated and explained in writing; otherwise it will be treated as non-confidential.

3. The learnable path is proposal solicitation, preliminary and second reviews, live pitching and one-on-one meetings, project-library incubation, and industry resource matching. The first edition’s 124 valid proposals and cases of projects entering theatrical release and international film festivals show that the venture can serve as a node for project growth and international collaboration.

Summary 1: Production needs and equipment opportunities

1. The venture solicits documentaries, narrative films, experimental films, animation, and public-interest non-fiction. Moving from proposal to finished film requires funding, equipment, and production support, potentially generating demand for shooting equipment, production services, and project collaboration.

2. Award-winning and shortlisted projects can join the “Double 100 Support Program” of the Leqi SmallRig Film Development Fund, receiving dedicated funding, SmallRig equipment, and communications support. Equipment support and production completion are practical steps in moving projects forward.

3. The jury focuses on the creative team’s experience and capability, production capacity, and project completion, as well as artistic expression, the social significance of the subject, and market potential. Factories can use these criteria to understand production standards and collaboration requirements for film projects.

Summary 2: Business opportunities and digitalization implications

1. The organizing committee connects shortlisted projects with production, investment, broadcasting, and distribution resources and helps them participate in domestic and international film festivals and venture platforms. Factories can watch for collaboration opportunities with production teams, public welfare organizations, art schools, and distribution and communications institutions.

2. The event promotes shortlisted projects through its official website, event handbook, and online and offline media, and builds a project library for resource matching and incubation, reflecting an organizational approach based on online solicitation, project showcase, and resource matching.

3. In the first edition, “Hey, Hey, Football Team” moved from a proposal with RMB 50,000 in support to national theatrical release, while “Spring Fantasy” entered an international film festival after receiving equipment support. This shows that equipment and production support can accompany projects through the growth chain.

Summary 1: Industry trends and client pain points

1. The public-interest film venture continues, with the second edition expanding the call scope, deepening the review and incubation system, and broadening international collaboration and communications channels. Demand for incubation and communications services for public-interest film projects is becoming clearer.

2. Creators’ pain points include having a project direction but lacking funding and equipment, needing project refinement, and lacking communications channels after production. The venture addresses these areas through proposal review, live pitching, and one-on-one meetings.

3. Review is centered on artistic expression, social significance, team experience and capability, and market potential. Service providers can use these dimensions to offer projects narrative optimization, production improvement, communications pathways, and sustainability plans.

Summary 2: Solutions and collaboration space

1. Award-winning and shortlisted projects can receive cash prizes and SmallRig equipment support and join the “Double 100 Support Program” for dedicated funding, equipment, and communications resources.

2. The organizing committee connects projects with production, investment, broadcasting, and distribution resources and helps them participate in domestic and international film festivals and venture platforms. Service providers can enter production, distribution, communications, festival applications, and international pitch forum matching.

3. First-edition projects have validated the service chain: “Hey, Hey, Football Team” moved to national theatrical release; “Spring Fantasy” won the top DOX award at CPH:DOX and the Pingyao Youth Jury Honor; and “Her and Her Secret” was selected for Tokyo Docs and Sheffield MeetMarket, indicating opportunities in international communications and film festival services.

Summary 1: Platform needs and project supply

1. The venture needs public-interest film projects with social value and communications potential. It targets global creators, production teams, public welfare organizations, and art schools, with a focus on young creators, and organizes supply around topics such as environmental protection, vulnerable groups, women’s growth, disability inclusion, grassroots governance, cultural heritage, climate change, and biodiversity.

2. The platform forms a selection and showcase mechanism through proposal solicitation, preliminary and second reviews, live pitching, one-on-one meetings, and final review. About 20 projects are planned for shortlisting and about 10 for pitching; shortlisted projects enter a project library for resource matching and incubation.

3. There are five categories of honors: one Best, one Merit, and one Excellence award, 10 Top 10 places, and 20 shortlisted places. Award-winning and shortlisted projects can enter the “Double 100 Support Program,” allowing the platform to design support and showcase resources accordingly.

Summary 2: Operations management and risk avoidance

1. The platform’s latest approach is to expand the call scope, deepen the review and incubation system, broaden international collaboration and communications channels, and connect projects with production, investment, broadcasting, distribution, and domestic and international film festival venture platforms.

2. Operationally, it needs to manage eligibility review, shortlisting, Top 10 selection, pitching and meetings, honor announcements, and project-library incubation, and coordinate jurors and decision-makers in jointly determining awards.

3. On risk avoidance, shortlisted materials will be used in the event handbook, official website, and online and offline promotions. Confidential content must be designated and explained in writing; otherwise it will be treated as non-confidential. Registration is deemed acceptance of the terms, the organizing committee holds the right of final interpretation, and award names, numbers, and amounts are subject to final determination.

Summary 1: New industry developments and mechanisms

1. The public-interest film venture has formed a project mechanism spanning solicitation, review, pitching, incubation, and communications and distribution. The second edition expands the call scope, deepens the review and incubation system, and broadens international collaboration and communications channels.

2. The first edition received 124 valid proposals and offered honors including Best, Merit, Excellence, Top 10, and Shortlisted. Review uses preliminary and second reviews plus live final review, scoring across four dimensions: artistic expression, social significance, team experience and capability, and market potential.

3. Award-winning and shortlisted projects join the “Double 100 Support Program” of the Leqi SmallRig Film Development Fund and receive matching with production, investment, broadcasting, and distribution resources and opportunities for domestic and international film festival venture platforms, reflecting the integration of public-interest film and industry resources.

Summary 2: Case implications and new questions

1. “Hey, Hey, Football Team” won the Best Proposal Award and RMB 50,000 in support. It followed blind youth football over five years, entered national theatrical release on October 15, 2026, and was shortlisted for film festivals. “Spring Fantasy” received equipment support and later won the top DOX award at CPH:DOX and the Pingyao Youth Jury Honor. “Her and Her Secret” won the Excellent Proposal Award and the CathayPlay International Communications Award and was selected for Tokyo Docs and Sheffield MeetMarket.

2. Research topics include funding and equipment gaps in public-interest film, communications channels, the venture’s role as a node rather than a substitute for creation, the boundary between material disclosure and confidentiality, registration terms and final interpretation rights, and award amount determination mechanisms.

3. The business model combines public-interest issues, film creation, a brand equipment fund, industry resource matching, and international film festival communications. Its sustainability and project selection criteria merit attention.
